Who we are

Anew Innovation’s consultants have a unique blend of expertise, qualifications and experience in the area of creativity and innovation. In particular, they have strong scientific and academic backgrounds in creativity and innovation, and an equally strong experiential record in the area. Our consultants also have strong backgrounds in research and management.

Nigel Nolan is Anew Innovation’s principle consultant and lead trainer. He has extensive experience in consultancy and training & development, both in Singapore and internationally. He has led workshops in various European countries, and since 2010, across South East Asia, China and India. Nigel has held senior positions in the Irish public service, including 16 years in training and head of training in the health services. He also has 13 years’ experience teaching management at graduate and post-graduate levels (PG Dip Mgmt and MBA). As well as possessing expertise in developing and delivering courses and consultancy in creativity, innovation, and creative problem-solving, Nigel uniquely has post-graduate academic training in creativity and innovation. He has a MBA (Master in Business Administration), and a MA (Master of Arts) in Adult Education and Human Development, and is a Certified Coach, Master Coach, Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Nigel was elected a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Training & Development (FIITD), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management (MCIM), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (AssocCIPD).

Dr Tan Hwee Pink is Anew Innovation’s scientific, academic and innovation advisor. He is currently the Chief Data Officer with the Health Promotion Board, and previously was an Associate Professor of Information Systems (Practice) in SMU (Singapore Management University) and Academic Director of the TCS-SMU iCity Lab. Prior to that he was a Senior Scientist and Programme Manager in A*STAR’s Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R). As well as possessing a BEng, MSc Eng, and a PhD, Prof Tan has extensive international experience having worked in research institutes of prestigious universities in Israel, Holland and Ireland. He has a strong background in scientific methods, critical thinking, and in creativity and innovation. Throughout his career, Dr Tan has been involved in the teaching and mentoring of students at all levels from high school to graduates and PhD level.
